Product management

What customers see is just a top of the iceberg. Behind the surface, there is a mich bigger and more complex part, intended for store owner to manage his store.

Product categorization

First step any store manager is facing is product grouping / categorization, so the customer will find it easier and more logical.

Of course, categories can have sub-categories.

Even more - there is a so called Product property grouping. Take for example product 'NIKE Air Max shoes' with property Brand = NIKE. Clicking this property you'll get all the products of NIKE brand.

Product definition

Adding / editing a product will offer you so many product options, that here we will cover only the most important ones:

  • product price (multiple currencies supported)
  • discount (can be limited by discount start/end date)
  • product availability (unavailable products can be browsed, but not ordered)
  • multiple images, including zoom image
  • product options - for example: colour / size variations of a product
  • multiple VAT rates

Bulk price change

Stores dealing with multiple currencies will find this option very useful, with couple of clicks you'll be able to change prices of all products in your store, thus applying the new conversion rate.

Order management

Each merchant has it's own logistics and order flow.

That is why WEBCentric Shop offers a flexible model enabling you to precisely tailor logistics / organizational processes in your organisation.

The result will be a clear working model and order flow, where both your customers and your employees will be able to see what is going on with an order, to pinpoint any possible problems and to move the order to the next step / person in the chain.

There is a special management reporting module, providing insight in store operations - total number of orders, number of failed orders, which items were best sellers, where are the customers coming from etc etc

Stock management

This module will enable you to monitor your stock levels, and to automatically (or manually) enable / disable certain products on your site.

Suppliers module will able you to track not only your sales, but your supplies / supply orders as well.

Order tracking

Thanks to our integration with shipping companies (such as DHL) both you and your customers will be able to see whether the order has been shipped, and where it's currently located.

Invoice generation

Each order can be accompanied by automatically generated invoice.

Customer generated content

This module takes care of customer comments, you can easily enable / disable a comment, as well as check stats on the user who wrote the comment.

Management reports

WEBCentric Shop offers special reporting module, where store managers can check business parameters at a glance: number of orders, order flow, best selling items, turnover in given time period etc etc

Custom business reports are also available upon request.

Finally, access to reporting module can be restricted by user rights, so only managers have access to sensitive data.

Info pages

A Web store consists not only of products - important part are so called info pages, where customers are explained general procedures, payment / delivery terms, complaints process, privacy policy etc etc

WEBCentric Shop enables store owners to maintain content of such pages themselves, in WYSIWYG editor, with ability to work not only with text, but images and hyperlinks as well.

Affiliate management

A special WEBCentric Shop module takes care of affiliate management - creating affiliate accounts, defining their affiliate share, keeping track of affiliate orders and affiliate payouts.

On the other hand, affiliate himself has the ability to login to his affiliate account himself and check all the above himself.
