Java

Java is WEBCentric's native technology - if we were given a free choice for a new Web project, we will certainly go for Java / Spring.

Besides Spring, we have great general experience with Servlets / JSP / Struts, as well as standalone Java applications, as well as Web services / clients (WSDL, Axis)

We are very strict about separating database layer (Ibatis) from business logic layer and presentation layer (JSP).

As for development tools, we use Eclipse and NetBeans, tightly integrated with SVN for code versioning, and ANT and Maven scripts for release management.

PHP

Although PHP is not our first choice when it comes to Web projects, we are quite often working with CMS extensions in PHP-based environments (Typo3, Drupal).

Such extensions require good working knowlegde of OO PHP and MVC model, as well as API of the given CMS.

Microsoft technologies

Microsoft is not our native environment, we do master MS technologies like .NET, ASP classic, as well as VB/VBA (many of the legacy applications we're maintaining for our clients are done in Microsoft Access)

... and many other technologies...

... like Cold Fusion. For some of our clients, we're maintaining several legacy applications written in Cold Fusion.

(this is to demonstrate our versatility and readiness to help our clients with all kind of projects - not only the big ones, developed from scratch, but also legacy ones, which are frequently poorly documented and require reverse engineering)
